This regular training was was held March 09-13, 2015 at the PSRTI. It was conducted to provide participants with an understanding of the principles and steps in the conduct of surveys and questionnaire design as well as provide skills in data processing of survey results.
A total of eight participants whose work involved the design and conduct of surveys gained understanding on how to collect data accurately using questionnaire. Likewise, there were hands-on application of the basic techniques in the conduct of surveys, questionnaire construction and skills to analyze survey results. The knowledge and skills learned from the training prepared the participants to the rudiments of conducting a survey which is a very important tool for data collection.
The agencies represented were: Bataan Peninsula State University, PhilHealth NCR, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Central Statistics Organization of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (CSO-Afghanistan), and Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute.
