The regular training course on Statistics for Financial Literacy. Said training was held on September 30 – October 3, 2019 at the PSRTI. A total of 26 participants from various government agencies and private institutions attended.
Statistics for Financial Literacy provided participants with money management, budgeting, saving, debt and investing. The training had a mixture of discussions, hands-on exercises, and workshops that used MS Excel for recording financial information with the aid basic formulas and some statistical techniques.
Mr. Rafael R. Angangco, a financial adviser, covered all topics relative to financial literacy and Prof. John Carlo P. Daquis of the School of Statistics, University of the Philippines Diliman served as the resource person for the statistics portion of the course.
