Director Almeda attends SGGST in Japan

PSRTI Executive Director III Josefina Almeda, Ph.D. attends the 6th Meeting of the Subgroup on Gender Statistics Training (SGGST) in Chiba, Japan. The SGGST, referred to as the Sub-Group, began on June 5 and will end on Thursday, June 7, 2023.
The face-to-face meeting is organized jointly by the United Nations Statistical Institute of Asia and the Pacific (UNSIAP) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. Director Almeda is a member of the Sub-Group and expected to work on the Training Curriculum materials and contribute actively her technical knowledge during the meeting’s discussions.
Joining Director Almeda are representatives of the UNSIAP, UN Women, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and other member countries included in the Sub-Group.
