CSC Field Director Alcantara awards CNA recognition to PSRTI, ASSERT

Civil Service Commission (CSC) Director Hans R. Alcantara handed the Certificate of Registration of the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) 2022-2025 between the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute and its sole labor organization, the Alliance of Statistics Staff Engaged in Research and Training (ASSERT), Inc. The awarding of the Certificate was held at the PSRTI office on March 20, 2023.

Director Alcantara personally awarded the Certificate to Executive Director III Josefina V. Almeda, Ph.D. and current ASSERT, Inc. President Ms. Jomel Jhele Sadsad. Also in attendance are previous ASSERT, Inc. President, Ms. Junelle Barcena, who signed the CNA, Executive Committee members Ms. Lolita Oreo and Ms. Sabrina Romasoc, and current ASSERT, Inc. officers.
The accreditation of the CNA 2022-2025 affirms the government’s recognition of the rights of employees in the public sector to self-organization.
