BARMM RSC Members Attend Complimentary Data Management Course in Cotabato City

The Complimentary Training Course on Mastering Data Management: A Guide to Google Sheets and MS Excel was conducted for 40 Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) members of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) at the Al-Nor Hotel and Convention Center in Cotabato City on April 16-18, 2024.
The training, led by Ms. Jazel Ann Raper and Mr. Ken Zedric Ganan of the PSRTI Training Division, covered essential topics such as the basic concepts of data management, practical techniques for using Google Sheets and MS Excel, and the application of descriptive statistics for data analysis. Participants engaged in interactive lectures and hands-on demonstrations, with a special focus on graphical data representation on the final day.
This course marks the second complimentary training for RSCs in the Philippines in 2024, building on the series of data visualization courses conducted in 2023. These initiatives aim to enhance the data management skills of RSC members, contributing to more effective and informed decision-making processes within their respective regions.
