BARMM offices and ministries welcome PSRTI delegates

Ten (10) ministries and offices in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) warmly welcomed the PSRTI delegation during the visit to Maguindanao on March 13-17, 2023 for the 3rd leg of the Complimentary Training Course on Data Visualization Using Infographics.

PSRTI Executive Director III Josefina V. Almeda, Ph.D., Training Division Chief Statistical Specialist Ms. Pinky Peña, and Office of the Executive Director Planning Officer II Mr. Stephen Trinidad paid courtesy visits to the offices of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) BARMM, Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA), Ministry Of Science and Technology (MOST), Ministry of Trade, Investments, and Tourism (MTIT), Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG), Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), Ministry of Public Works (MPW), Ministry of Finance, and Budget Management (MFBM), Office of the Chief Minister – Technical Management Service (OCM-TMS), and the City Administrator’s Office of the Mayor’s Office.
Director Almeda presented the research and training services of the PSRTI to heads and representatives of each office/ministry. They all expressed their keen interest in each one, particularly in capacity-building. Many indicated that training the relatively young workforce in BARMM would greatly empower them and contribute to the fulfillment of their respective mandates and enhance regional development.
