The virtual workshop will serve as the venue to share and discuss the accomplishments of the pilot project with its local and national stakeholders.

Recipients of the CD4.0 project, Balanga City, Municipality of Dinalupihan, and Municipality of Samal, from the province of Bataan, will give testimonials on their experiences with the project. Joining them are some of the national stakeholders on gender statistics and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely the Philippine Commission on Women and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

The participants will hear messages and inputs from the PSA National Statistician Dennis S. Mapa as well as from PARIS21 executives on their thoughts on the conduct of the pilot project and its potentials, including the strengthening of gender statistics for community-based SDGs monitoring in the country.

The Stakeholder’s Workshop will also be attended by representatives of the National Government of the Republic of the Maldives, who are similarly conducting their own project using the CD4.0 framework. They are looking into the experiences of the PSRTI in particular, and the country in general, in successfully implementing the project.

The CD4.0 pilot project started on July 2020 with an orientation of the pilot areas on the project goals and activities. The PSRTI fully carried out all activities through online conferencing, from the Capacity and Training Needs Assessment of the pilot LGUs (Phase I), to the hosting of the three training courses that build on the understanding, analysis, and presentation of gender statistics of the LGUs (Phase II). The Stakeholder’s Workshop serves as the third and final phase of the project.
