On June 27, 2025, the PSRTI formalized its partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tubungan, Iloilo through a ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement for the program “CBMS Analytics for LGU Planning.”

PSRTI Executive Director III Josefina V. Almeda, PhD, and Ms. Sabrina Romasoc, Officer-in-Charge of the Research Division, visited Tubungan to launch this initiative. The program is designed to assist the LGU in analyzing and generating reports from the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data. It aims to produce evidence-based insights for informed and strategic local development planning and policy-making. Beyond providing technical assistance, PSRTI will also help strengthen the LGU’s capacity in sustainable data analysis and reporting, laying the groundwork for data-driven governance at the local level.

Both PSRTI and LGU Tubungan expressed enthusiasm for the partnership and its potential to contribute to more effective and responsive local development efforts.
