The PSRTI launched its celebration of the 2025 National Women’s Month with a seminar on Inclusive Leadership: Embracing Gender Sensitivity for Stronger Teams on March 5, 2025, at the PSRTI Conference Hall. The event featured Director Ryan Esteban, JD, MPA, from the National Book Development Board (NBDB), as the Resource Speaker. Director Esteban, who has extensive experience in investigative work protecting women and children from sexual exploitation, shared his insights on fostering a more inclusive and gender-sensitive workplace.

Ms. Maria Praxedes Peña, Chief Statistical Specialist of the Training Division, delivered the opening remarks on behalf of PSRTI Executive Director III, Dr. Josefina V. Almeda. She highlighted the significance of honoring women’s invaluable contributions throughout history and emphasized PSRTI’s commitment to championing gender equality, ultimately fostering a more inclusive and equitable work environment.
The seminar, held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN, featured engaging discussions on intentional, proactive, and sensitive leadership. Director Esteban encouraged employees to reflect on their own perspectives and needs to become more effective public servants. He also provided practical insights on fostering harmony in a diverse workplace, where individuals of different genders collaborate daily.

This seminar marks the beginning of a series of activities planned for the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration by the PSRTI Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, led by Ms. Jesusa Sarabia, in coordination with the PSRTI Wellness Committee.
