The PSRTI conducted the training on Multiple Imputation Methods at the PSRTI Gervacio G. Selda Jr. Room from September 23 to 27, 2024, which was attended by 27 participants from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and the PSRTI.

The training was expertly led by Dr. Joseph Ryan Lansangan, with Prof. Martin Augustine Borlongan assisting. They guided participants through the intricacies of statistical inference, survey methods, and multiple imputation techniques for both univariate and multivariate data. The course also included practical applications and hands-on exercises, ensuring that attendees could implement these methods in their own work.

During the closing program, participants shared their positive impressions of the training. One participant praised the structured organization and logical flow of topics, which transitioned smoothly from foundational concepts to practical applications. He emphasized the training’s relevance to his current work, highlighting its potential to improve estimates for strategic planning and decision-making. Another lauded Dr. Lansangan’s proficiency in simplifying complex ideas, making them accessible to all participants. She appreciated the patience and thoroughness in addressing all inquiries during discussions and exercises.
