Final batch of Module 2 CTCs for PSA conducted by PSRTI

The fourth batch of the Customized Training Course (CTC) focusing on Data Management, Data Visualization, and Technical Report Writing, utilizing PSA Data, was recently held for 25 participants from various Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) field offices. This course took place from April 1-5, 2024 at the PSRTI Gervacio G. Selda Room. Asst. Prof. John Lorenzo Yambot, hailing from the University of the Philippines Los Baños Institute of Statistics (UPLB InStat), served as the Resource Person.

This course combined essential concepts extracted from three of PSRTI’s Regular Training Courses (RTCs), offering a holistic understanding of data management, visualization techniques, and crafting statistical reports.

The Closing Ceremonies featured closing remarks from PSRTI Executive Director III, Josefina V. Almeda, PhD, who extended gratitude to the Resource Persons, the PSRTI training team, and the participating individuals. She emphasized the collaborative effort that ensured the training’s success and expressed anticipation for future engagements with both Resource Persons and the PSA.

This session marks the conclusion of Module 2, dedicated to Data Management, Data Visualization, and Technical Report Writing using PSA Data. The PSA and PSRTI maintain an ongoing Memorandum of Agreement to conduct multiple modules of CTCs, underscoring their commitment to enhancing the capabilities of the Philippine Statistical System (PSS).
