Director Almeda guests at DepEd M&E Conference in SOCCSKSARGEN

Upon the invitation of the Department of Education (DepEd), PSRTI Executive Director III Josefina V. Almeda, Ph.D., gives a lecture presentation on “Basic Quantitative and Qualitative Data Analysis and Communicating Evaluation Results” on Day 2, June 21, 2023 of the 1st DepEd National Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Conference. The event, held on June 19-23, 2023 at the Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City, was participated in by various stakeholders from the education sector.

The conference is in support of the education reforms of DepEd. It also aimed to keep up to date on current policies, set the direction of DepEd’s M&E system, apply the principles and standards of M&E in basic education governance, and reflect on the current state and practices of M&E in the Department.
As an expert in the field of M&E and as Head of the PSRTI, the agency mandated to provide statistical research and training, Director Almeda provided her valuable insights and share learnings from the PSRTI’s experience in conducting M&E programs.
The presentation of Director Alemda was part of a breakout session, participated in by over 100 DepEd technical staff from all over the Philippines.
