7 agencies in SOCCSKSARGEN welcome PSRTI Delegation on the 2nd leg of its RSC Complimentary Trainings

Seven Regional Government offices in SOCCSKSARGEN (Region XII) welcome the PSRTI delegation led by Executive Director III Josefina V. Almeda, Ph.D., with Training Division Chief Statistical Specialist Ms. Pinky Peña, and Office of the Executive Director Planning Officer II Mr. Stephen Trinidad during courtesy visits to their offices.

These agencies are: PSA, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Tourism (DoT), Department of Finance – Bureau of Local Government Finance (DOF-BLGF), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and Department of Agriculture (DA).
The PSRTI Team exchanged pleasantries and discussed the research and training services of the agency, how these can be availed of, and other research and training related concerns of the visited regional offices.
The team is in Koronadal City for the conduct of the 2nd Complimentary Training on Data Visualization Using Infographics for the Regional Statistics Committees (RSCs), scheduled on 21-23 February 2023. The 3-day training will capacitate the selected participants, who are member-agencies of the RSC, to present data using simple but attention-grabbing infographics.
