PSRTI PARTNERS WITH PSA FOR THE CONDUCT OF COMPLIMENTARY TRAININGS FOR ALL RSCS IN THE PHILIPPINES

The PSRTI and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) joined hands in addressing the capacity building needs of member-agencies of the Regional Statistics Committees (RSCs) all over the country.
The request for trainings was relayed by the RSCs during the 7th RSC Summit on December 5, 2022. This paved the way for the PSA and PSRTI, through their respective agency heads, Undersecretary Dennis S. Mapa, Ph.D. and Executive Director III Josefina Almeda, Ph.D., to discuss the steps to be undertaken in ensuring the conduct of the trainings that will be offered free to all regions.
As an initial offering, the training course on Data Visualization Using Infographics will be the first training course that will be given to all RSCs in the Philippines. This will enhance skills of participants in presenting statistical data effectively through interesting and catchy infographics.
