19 Ilocos offices visited by PSRTI team

The PSRTI delegation pays courtesy visits to nineteen (19) regional offices in La Union, including the Provincial Government of La Union, beginning 20 June until the 23rd. The visits are simultaneously conducted with the Complimentary Training on Data Visualization Using Infographics for Regional Statistics Committees (RSCs) in San Fernando City.

Regional offices visited include the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Department of Agriculture (DA), Office of the Civil Defense (OCD), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Philippine National Police (PNP), Commission on Population and Development (CPD), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Tourism (DOT), Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Education (DepEd), and Provincial Government of La Union.
The courtesy visits serve as an avenue to promote PSRTI’s research and training services. The PSRTI Team, headed by the Chief Statistical Specialist of the Training Division Ms. Pinky Peña discusses with the agency officials and heads the future research and training engagements that they may join. Mr. Ian Dela Cruz of the Office of the Executive Director coordinated with the regional offices to schedule the courtesy calls.
